What’s up party people?  How was the weekend?  Mine was a real testament to how classy my friends are and how awesome it is to live in the NYC area.  On Friday I went to see the Broadway play, Stick Fly!  And I had no idea I was going.  That’s the best part about it.  My brother from another mother, and a great actor in his own right, Charles Browning, surprised me with a ticket!  And the added joy of the show was that Dule Hill was in it…and I love Dule Hill!  I’m such a fan, I was doing the running man in the street!  The show was great and I recommend it!  Here is a pic of me and my fave!

Then on Saturday another one of my friends who has a vegan dream, had a tasting of various vegan items.  IT WAS OFF THE HOOK!  You could taste the love and hard work in every dish.  I should mention there were like 20 something dishes.  Thanks so much Kemba!    We were stuffed at the end but it made me think…I could be a vegan.  I’m only contemplating it because I know Common is a vegetarian and I want to have his babies.  Has anyone seen this Sweet video of his? It makes me a little warm and tingly inside.  Everytime I watch it I need some alone time for 15-20 minutes lol.  Good gracious, let me know what you think.

Finally, I went to weight watchers on Saturday to get my devastating weigh in and guess what?  I’ve lost 6 pounds!  Them shakes are doing something.  Let’s see what happens this week especially since I plan on working out this week.  I was terrified of the gym last week when my hair was straight.
